HACC Hawks Fall to Northampton in Season Opener
Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks Women's Volleyball team kicked off the Fall 2025 season with grit and determination, taking on powerhouse Northampton Community College on the road. Despite strong individual performances, HACC fell in straight sets to the Spartans, 0–3.

The Hawks opened the match with energy, but the Spartans came out strong, taking the first set 25–15. HACC regrouped in the second set, putting up a fierce fight and keeping it close throughout. Ultimately, Northampton edged out the Hawks 25–20. In the third set, the Spartans closed out the match with another 25–15 win.
Peyton Maass led the way offensively for HACC with a team-high 12 kills, hitting an impressive .421, and added 13 digs and 2 aces to her stat line. Kelly Bastian contributed 5 kills and a solo block, while Jillian Fulkroad was active as the team's primary setter, dishing out 14 assists and serving up 2 aces.
Defensively, Caylei Fasnacht was a standout with 14 digs, while Sasha Lutz and Aliza Sellars chipped in on the backline with 8 and 5 digs respectively. The Hawks totaled 45 digs, 25 kills, and 5 service aces in the contest.
