Harrisburg, PA – The Hawks Women's Volleyball team faced Delaware Tech Community College and Montgomery County Community College in a Tri-match Saturday Sept. 28, 2024. The Hawks won both matches improving their overall record 8-6.
Match 1: HACC 3, Delaware Tech CC 0 - Final
The Hawks dominated against Delaware Tech in the home Tri-match. The Hawks finished with a convincing win against the Squares; 3-0. Peyton Maass led the squad with 8 kills and 2 serve aces, while Lezlie Nguyen added 6 kills. Both Peyton Maass and Zoe Velez were active with 11 digs. Camryn Heth recorded 24 assists and 5 serve aces.
Match 2: HACC 3, Montgomery CC 0 - Final
The second matchup of the tri-match was against the Montgomery Mustangs. The HACC Hawks got right to work building an early lead the first set. The Hawks took the first set 25-15. The third set was taken by the Mustangs 25-19 and the third and fourth sets were controlled by the HACC Hawks ending in 25-18 and 25-19 wins. Zoe Velez had a team high of 10 kills to pair with her 9 digs. Camryn Heth led the team with 26 assists. Peyton Maass recorded 15 digs and 7 kills. Kelly Bastian followed with 12 digs and four kills.
