HACC's Rocket League and Call of Duty Teams Win Again

HACC's Rocket League team played Madison College on Thursday in a best of 7 series. The Hawks came out strong, winning the first two games of the series.  Madison College came back in the third game to push the Hawks into overtime.  Gavin "Paranesis" Harris scored the winning goal, sealing game three for the Hawks.  Madison College came back strong in game four, taking the win.  In the fifth game, striker Brady "Voltres" Sartori scored the winning goal, locking up the series win for the Hawks.

On Friday, the Call of Duty team took on Madison College in a best of 3 series.  The Hawks won the first game of the series after having to replay it due to an illegal component on Madision College.  In the second round in Hard Point mode in the Moscow map, the Hawks failed to assert dominance, giving the game to Madison College.  With the series tied 1-1, the third round was the deciding factor for the series.  In this map, Luis "Louie_Cruz" Cordero executed stealthy flanking maneuvers that resulted in the Hawks winning the map.  This gave the series to the Hawks, 2-1.

The Esports teams will continue pushing for the playoffs.  If you want to watch your HAWKS in action, follow on the HACC Esports Twitch channel, https://www.twitch.tv/haccesports.  Subscribe to be notified when they go live and catch up on prior matches!
