Favorite memory of playing sports at HACC?

The relationships built. The transition from high school to college can be intimidating, however, becoming a member of the Harrisburg Area Community College Volleyball program provided me with life-long friendships. (And memories filled with uncontrollable laughter!)

What did participating in HACC Athletics mean to you?

It was truly an honor/unforgettable experience. A majority of my favorite moments happened during my time with HACC Athletics. Win or lose, I was surrounded by some really great people.

What did you do after HACC?

I continued my education at Penn State Harrisburg, where I graduated among the top 2% of my class, obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. (GPA: 3.98) While academics were of importance, so was my passion for volleyball. I attended tryouts for the Penn State Harrisburg Women's Volleyball Team as the only walk-on and ended the season being recognized with the "Newcomer of the Year" award. Anything is possible.

Where are you now?

After graduation, I maintained the position of being the Marketing Director for Tattered Flag Brewery & Still Works. (A local brewery in Middletown, PA.) To continue my career advancement, I just recently accepted a position as a Shift Coordinator at the Hershey Lodge. In doing so, I was able to afford a new apartment where I happily live with my boyfriend of five years. (Who just so happens to play volleyball as well, coincidence? I think not! :)
