2016-17 Women's Basketball Recap

The women's basketball team had a successful season under second year Head Coach Mike Verotsky. The whole team contributed to each game and worked successfully to get stronger through the season.  They were lead offensively by Brianna Grausgruber, who had a total of 460 points, with 24.2 points per game average.  She had 6 games with 30 points or over and 2 games with over 40 points.  She was aided by her teammates, whose ability to get her the ball was great.  The Hawks played great defense, averaging 13.3 steals per game and out rebounding their opponents by an average of 9 per game.  The team went 10-10 overall and looks to continue to get better in the 2017-18 season.
