HACC Golf brought home the Regional qualifier trophy yesterday, finishing first out of eight teams. Bailey Neveker, coming off his lowest score of 70, scored a 69 to come in first place. He beat his own record of lowest score for HACC Golf that he set on April 22nd. The conditions were once again cold and windy but Coach Tim Birney says the team came out to accomplish their goal of winning. Jarret Brightbill finished second with a 73 and Logan Snyder finished with a 77. Coach Birney credits Tyler Kiscadden with helping the team finish first by shooting his lowest score of the season. Coach Birney was also pleased with Dane Hoover, who has been scoring lower every tournament.
The team was named EPAC Champions and Neveker, Brightbill, and Snyder are named to the Eastern PA Athletic Conference team. Neveker has the lowest average, Brightbill has the second lowest average, and Snyder is 5th in the rankings for the conference.
The team is thrilled with the win but is looking to take first at Regionals as well. They will travel back to New Jersey next week to continue to pursue their goal of qualifying for Nationals.
