Men's Basketball Starts off the Second Half With a Win

Men's Basketball returned to action Tuesday night against Delaware County CC.  The team got off to a quick start but found themselves behind at half.  Foul trouble and getting out of rhythm had the Hawks down by 6 at the half.  The second half had the Hawks playing better team basketball, correcting mistakes, and finding a rhythm.  Coach Branam said the defense went into high gear in the second half, shutting down Delaware's offense and creating turnovers.

Offensively, Jordan Lynch-Rexroth had 31 points and Chase Arnold had 20 points of the Hawks 88 total points.  Lynch-Rexroth also contributed to defense with 9 rebounds and 5 steals, with Arnold adding 3 steals to the teams' 14 total.  Onterio Edmonds sparked the offense with 8 assists and Arnold had 5 assists.  Chris Adams, Jr. had 8 points and 8 rebounds for the Hawks as well.

Overall, the Hawks played well and closed out the second half to seal the win.  The team will travel to Thaddeus Stevens on Thursday for their next game.  Tip off will be at 7 pm in Lancaster.
