Men's Basketball Suffers Their First Loss of the Season

Men's Basketball suffered their first loss of the season to NJCAA Division I Harford Community College.  The Hawks played hard until the final buzzer but were unable to overcome the Fighting Owls.

The Hawks struggled from the three point line and the height of the Owls made points in the paint and second chance points difficult.  In the final minutes, a couple of quick three pointers and important steals by Chase Arnold, Austin Greene and Tate Pendell got the Hawks within 5 points.  The Owls held off the Hawks charge by shooting 75% from the free throw line and forcing the Hawks to foul.

Arnold and Greene led the team with 16 points each, Greene had 10 assists, and Arnold had two key steals.  Kareem Hicks had another double double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

The team will travel to Community College of Philadelphia Saturday to get back into Conference play.  The game will tip off at 1 pm at CCP.
