December proved to be tough for the Hawks. In December, they had three wins and three losses. They ended the first half of the season 3rd in conference and with an overall record of 7-6 and 6-2 in conference.
The Hawks played conference opponent Montgomery County and came out with a win 75-72. Onterio Edmonds scored 20 points for the Hawks in the win. The Hawks then played Northampton, ranked #2 in conference at home. It was a tough loss for the Hawks, 89-97. The Hawks were unable to hold off the Spartans charge in the second half. Robert Wright III with 18 points and Doug Smith with 15 points led the Hawks. The Hawks then struggled with the next two non-conference games, losing to Williamson Trade and Monroe College JV. The Hawks bounced back against conference opponent Thaddeus Stevens with a win, 88-70. Sean Smith led the Hawks with 24 points; Wright III added 15 points and Edmonds had 13 points. The Hawks ended December with a win over Lancaster Bible JV. Kentrell Rucker had 20 points, Doug Smith had 15 points and 10 assists, and Edmonds had 16 points. Wright III recorded his first triple double of the season with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.
